Central Baldwin Chamber welcomes 2016-2017 Junior Executives

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Central Baldwin Chamber of Commerce is excited to introduce our 2016-2017 Junior Executives. The Junior Executive Program provides juniors and seniors in the Central Baldwin area with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills through hands on work experience, leadership classes and community involvement.

Students meet and interact with local business and community leaders as well as the Chamber Board of Directors and staff. Students participate in a wide range of Chamber events including: Business After Hours, ribbon cuttings, Annual Banquet, Prayer Breakfast and various other activities designed to promote the Central Baldwin Chamber and community.

An annual trip to the State Capitol for a tour and lunch with local elected officials is also part of the program.

A scholarship is awarded to at least one Junior Executive senior, who meets the program criteria, at the end of the school year. The Junior Executives earn points for their involvement which are taken into consideration during scholarship selection.

The Chamber donates a minimum of $1,000 toward the scholarship and multiple scholarships may be given depending on the contributions received. The Mack family also donates a scholarship annually to the Junior Executive Program in honor of Huey Mack Sr.

The Chamber would like to extend a big thank you to the Junior Executive Program sponsors, Baldwin EMC, Riviera Utilities and Pen Air Federal Credit Union.
