Dianne Strong, age 75, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Elsanor-Robertsdale, Alabama and Niceville, Florida was welcomed home by her savior Saturday, May 4, 2019.
Dianne was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Elsanor, Alabama.
Dianne was an educator in Baldwin County for 35 years, teaching fifth grade and as an education administration for Chapter 1 programs.
She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers sorority and loved her alma mater Judson College in Marion, Alabama.
Dianne was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur James Strong; and parents, Louis and Ruth Dantzler of Montrose, Alabama that will be there to welcome her home.
Dianne is survived by her brother, Mitch Dantzler of Niceville, Florida; and stepdaughters, Maridon Bradley of Atlanta, Georgia, Pamela Dilling Strong of Vancleave, Mississippi; and nieces and nephews, of whom many called her "Aunt IDAN," and grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks to "The Manor" Nursing Home of Niceville, Florida and Twin Cities Hospital of Niceville that truly showed compassion, caring and selfless service for Dianne and family during these last days of illness.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home chapel, Robertsdale, Alabama, with burial in Montrose Cemetery, Montrose, Alabama.
A visitation will be at 1 p.m. before the service on Saturday at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale, Alabama.
