Douglas William "Doug" West, age 54, born in California and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.
Doug was a member of Narcotics Anonymous. He was dedicated in helping others with addiction and promoting recovery.
Doug was preceded in death by a son, Christopher West; his mother, Lenore McNeer; and two brothers, Mitchel West and Jason McNeer.
Survivors include his sister, Audrey ( Robert) Thorenton ; his brother, Michael West, all of Fairhope, Alabama; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, from 6 until 8 p.m. for a celebration of his life.
