Fairhope Police need your help.
Officers are investigating a car accident that occurred Monday, Aug. 28, at approximately 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Section Street and Pecan Avenue and would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the accident.
The officer who arrived on the scene first started performing life-saving measures on an injured female driver. The Fairhope resident was transported to Sacred Heart by helicopter.
According to the Fairhope Police Department, a bystander assisted the woman but left before the officers could obtain his name.
The other driver involved, Phamous Hobbs, a 47-year-old Fairhope resident was arrested for DUI and assault in the first degree.
