Gulf State Park’s Perch offering special Valentine’s Day menu

Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it so the time to secure dinner reservations is now. Chef James Balster, of Gulf State Park’s Perch, has created a full-course Valentine’s Day menu.

The restaurant, known for its cuisine that features freshly sourced products from local fishermen and regional farmers, will offer sweethearts a delicious dinner that includes roasted crab bisque and pan seared scallops.

Perch Valentine’s Day Menu

First Course

Roasted Crab Bisque | Crab Salad, puff pastry Crouton

OR

Heirloom Tomato Salad | Pickled red onion, winter Radish, Herb Fried Honey Goat Cheese, Aged Balsamic

Second Course

Pan Seared Diver Scallop | Charred Artichoke, Trumpet Mushroom, Rosemary Citrus Reduction

OR

Ricotta gnocchi | Crisp Pancetta, English Pea, Truffle Scented Cream Broth

Third Course

Grilled Filet of Beef | Poached Shallot, Smashed Garlic Fingerling, Asparagus, Classic Demi Reduction

Lobster Thermador | Roasted Corn, Bucatini Pasta, Saffron Cream Reduction

Dessert

Rose scented doughnut | Raspberry Gelée, Earl Grey Creme
