PP Hospitality knows how to throw a grand opening bash.

The newest addition to the PP Hospitality brand, The Waterfront in Daphne held a free concert event Monday, June 5 featuring New Orleans-based Cowboy Mouth.

The biggest surprise of the night was an appearance by Food Network star and friend of “Panini” Pete Blohme, Guy Fieri.

Regarding the event, PP Hospitality operating partner Nick DiMario said it was, “just an unbelievable event, Cowboy Mouth performing and Guy Fieri in attendance. A total team effort to make this party a success. Thank you to all our guests for making this event a rocking party.”

Fieri interacted with those in attendance, took selfies and spoke to the crowd. Photos from the event have been flooding social media. He also signed bottles of Santo Tequila which is his collaboration with legendary rocker Sammy Hagar. According to DiMario, the bottles are available for sale at The Waterfront. 

Fieri made the trip a double feature with a 6 p.m. event at Havana Rey’s Cigar Shop & Lounge in Mobile earlier in the evening to promote his cigar collaboration with Erik Espinosa called Knuckle Sandwich.

The Waterfront

The Waterfront was formerly known as the Lake Forest Yacht Club. PP Hospitality took over the operation of the newly renovated building and opened to the public in late May. The restaurant offers unobstructed views of Mobile Bay and killer sunsets to compliment the delicious food and drinks the Gulf Coast has come to expect from PP Hospitality. The Waterfront at 1 Yacht Club Dr., Daphne or visit by boat. It is located next to the newly renovated D’Olive Bay Boat Launch.
