Hazel Alamanda Dorman, age 76, a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Willie M. Dorman; parents, Artie and Iola Stalhood; and loving nephew, Joey Childress.
She is survived by her daughters, Lorie A. Nelson and Christie Bettner (Richard); grandchildren, Aaron , and Jessica Nelson, Alexis, Hunter and Lizzie Bettner; great-grandson, Camden Dailey; sisters, Betty Childress (Tommy), Bonnie Putnam (Larry) and Selma Stalhood; brothers, Donald Stalhood (Mary), Calvin Stalhood (Chris) and Johnny Stalhood (Kim); many nieces and nephews across the country, including Theresa Wooten (Kenny), Vernon Childress (Jo Anna), Preston Childress and Chad Childress (Melanie), who have been like our own children.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at 11 a.m., with interment following at Brook-Cedron Cemetery, Barnwell.
