Henry A. Shiver, age 86, a native of Fairhope, longtime resident of Foley and recent resident of Robertsdale, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017.
Mr. Shiver owned and operated Theresa and Henry's Boat Landing on County Road 20. He retired from Monsanto in Pensacola, Florida.
He was a veteran of the United States Army and was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Clara Shiver; wives, Theresa Lay Shiver and Lucille "Butch" Shiver; and seven of his siblings.
He is survived by his sister, Frances Younce of Irvington, Alabama; 23 nieces and nephews; along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews; many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Monday, April 3, 2017, from 5-7 p.m.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley, Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at 10 a.m.
Interment will follow in Lay Cemetery.
