Lola Mae Campbell Welch passed away peacefully on March 24, 2019 just after midnight, in Sixes, Oregon while in the care of her eldest daughter, Kathy Ann (Harrison) Lawton. Lola Mae was 78 at the time of her passing and married to Richard L. "Dick" Burnett.

Born May 3, 1942 to Rupert Samuel Campbell and Verla Mae Calvert in Robertsdale, Alabama.

Lola Mae joins four of her siblings whose passing preceded hers, leaving brother Samuel "Sammy" Campbell as the sole surviving member of the Campbell siblings born to Rupert and Verla.

Lola Mae joined her now deceased siblings, Betty Faye Connor, Johnny Banks "JB" Campbell, Clara Jean Campbell and Ronald "Ronnie" Campbell in her passing. Lola Mae also joins her youngest child, John Russell "Rusty" Harrison who passed away in 1989.

She has two surviving daughters, Kathy Ann (Harrison) Lawton and Ethel Gay (Harrison) Perry who both now reside on the west coast, in Oregon and California, respectively. Lola Mae also leaves behind numerous other family members, including nine grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Lola Mae was a feisty, energetic woman and loved by many family and friends.

A hard-working woman, she was a Lions Club member and Honorary Mayor of the city of North Highlands, California in the 1980s. She worked for many years at various VFWs, pouring drinks and keeping people company.

Lola is missed dearly by her children, family and friends. She was a generous grandmother both in terms of care and discipline.

A private service will be held for Lola with her children and grandchildren in northern California during the summer. Anyone who feels inspired to remember Lola is encouraged to do in any way they feel moved to do.
