Bags will be flying across the state line as the Lower Alabama Young Professionals host their fourth iteration of Barks, Bags, & Bushwackers, a cornhole tournament and social, at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club on Saturday, Sept. 16.
The event will help raise money as a portion of proceeds benefit this year's chosen animal related charity, Service Dogs Alabama. Founded in 2015, Service Dogs Alabama is dedicated to providing medical and psychiatric service dogs to children, adults, and veterans with disabilities.
The Lower Alabama Young Professionals organization is a partnership between the Coastal Alabama and South Baldwin Chambers of Commerce, serving Foley, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The group targets the 21 to 40 professional age range and brings a fresh new outlook for leadership in our community. Their commitment is to provide community connections, education, philanthropy, and opportunities for outreach.

All attendees will receive a ticket for a free bushwacker and a custom event drink hugger.
Tickets can be purchased in advance on the event's page at mygulfcoastchamber.com. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
