Loxley Optimist Club to host annual Fishing Rodeo

LOXLEY, Alabama — On Saturday, May 6, the Loxley Optimist Club will hold its annual Youth Fishing Rodeo. The event will be held at the Dean Black Pond in Loxley from 8 a.m. to noon.

The rodeo is for boys and girls from the age of 13 and under. Admission is free.

Participants must bring their own fishing gear. There will be limited bait available. Awards and door prizes will be presented and lunch will be provided by the Optimist Club.
