Award time! On Thursday, July 20, the Magnolia Springs Public Library held their Summer Reading Awards for all their star readers of the summer. The reading champions were tasked with keeping track of the number of books they read throughout the summer. The kids each received a certificate for their achievement, including tickets to many local attractions which they can enjoy with their families, as well as a keepsake, such as a doll for the younger kids and a reading mug for the older readers. To top off the day of awards, the young readers were then treated to a summer party where they were served ice cream, cookies, and brownies.
