Mr. Charles Douglas Andrews, age 83, of Century, Florida, passed away on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at Century Health and Rehabilitation Center in Century, Florida.

Mr. Andrews was born in Jay, Florida and was a lifetime member of the Century community where he owned and operated several businesses, including Century Bait Shop. He worked at Container Corporation in Brewton, Alabama as a machine tender.

Mr. Andrews was an avid gardener and fisherman.

He was of the Baptist faith, and was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Myrtle Campbell Andrews; and his granddaughter, Stephanie.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mrs. Mary Andrews of Century, Florida; children, Sandra (Tommy) Greenwell of Molino, Florida, Anne (Kenny) Powell of Flomaton, Alabama, Steven Douglas (Sandra) Andrews of Jay, Florida and John David Andrews of Pensacola, Florida; sister, Linda Sue (Douglas) McGhee of Spanish Fort, Alabama; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 10, 2017 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel at 3 p.m.

Interment will follow in McCurdy Cemetery, Century, Florida.

Pallbearers will be Josh Greenwell, Jeremy Greenwell, Jacob Coleman, Brian McGhee, Ben McCurdy, Luke Brown.
