Rose Blanche Covert, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Sunday Oct. 30, 2016 at her home surrounded by family.

Visitation services will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel in Dothan, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday Nov. 5, 2016, at noon at Bethel Baptist Church in Robertsdale, Alabama, with a visitation to be held two hours prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions may be made either to Bethel Baptist Church, Robertsdale, Alabama, or Covenant United Methodist Church, Dothan, Alabama.

On the Lord's Day, God came to say He needed our sweet angel Rose to be with Him.

Rose was born on July 14, 1959 in Mobile Alabama. She was raised and lived most of her life in Baldwin County.

A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, she moved to Dothan with her husband in 2004 and was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry Joseph Stastka and Dorothy Mae Stastka.

Among her survivors to whom she leaves to cherish her memories include her husband, Peter B. Covert; her sons, Zachery A. Cordova, Matthew F. Cordova, Justin A. Cordova and Samuel H. Covert; her bonus sons, Bryan P. Covert, Scott B. Covert; her bonus daughter, Michele B. Cordova; her brothers, Wayne (Geri) Stastka, Dennis (Joan) Stastka and Joseph (Kathy) Stastka; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews; two daughters-in-law, one grandson and one bonus granddaughter.

To those who knew her or knew of her, she was an amazing person; spreading joy, love and faith where ever His journey led her.
