The Fair Housing Agency of Alabama to Sponsor Financial Literacy / Economic Symposium

The Fair Housing Agency of Alabama, in partnership with the Allstate Foundation, will sponsor a community Financial Literacy / Economic Empowerment Symposium on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at the Azell Ginwright Center, located at 304 W. 4th Ave, Foley, from 6–7 p.m. This event will provide the information, resources and technologies that will help improve the financial and economic viability of individuals and families by enabling attendees to increase personal assets and financial options, improve credit reports, purchase a home and prevent foreclosures. Information will also be provided relative to the Alabama Tenant/Landlord Law and new renter rights.

This symposium is presented in partnership with The Foley Housing Authority, WalMart Stores, Wells Fargo Foundation, Regions Bank and BBVA Compass Bank. This event is free to the public. For further information contact 251-660-7733.
