Thomas (Tommy) Maxwell Presley, age 86, a longtime resident of Seminole, Alabama passed away on Oct. 2nd, 2023, after a struggle with Alzheimer disease. Tommy was born June 4th, 1937, in Lottie Alabama, to Ollie and Gladys Presley. He was the youngest of their four children. Tommy was a mischievous Bachelor who loved to hunt and fish. He grew up working on the family farm. He graduated from Bay Minette High School in 1955. On Nov. 29, 1957, Tommy married his sweetheart, Nell Biggs. Together he and Nell raised three children. He was a devoted and doting father who never missed his son's basketball games. He never failed in saying "I love you" and all three knew he meant it. He had a long career with Monsanto, retiring after more than 37 years on the job. In his younger days he was an avid fisherman who enjoyed traveling across country, RVing in the campgrounds along the way. He and his wife Nell were instrumental in the realization of Baldwin County's ARC. Tommy and his wife served on the Board of Directors of ARC for many years. As the parents of a son with mental and physical challenges they made it their life's work to have a place where mentally challenged individuals could learn and thrive. In life he was blessed with many grandchildren. He had a special connection with them all. He loved spending time with them and going on adventures. Tommy was preceded in death by his wife and the mother of his children, Farish Nell Presley; son Randy Presley; as well as both his mother and father; sister Jeannine (Bob) Pipkin of Bay Minette; James Presley, and Glenn Presley of Atmore. He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years, JoAnne Bell Presley of Seminole; his son Thomas Brian (Staci) Presley of Elberta; his daughter Kimberly (Mathew) Lutter of Robertsdale; Stepchildren John (Toni) Coberly of Pensacola, Florida; Joel (Carol) Coberly of Seminole; James (Regina) Coberly of Seminole; Julie (Bob) McDonald of Seminole; sister-in-law Jackie Presley; 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren. Presiding over the service will be Pastors Avon Fowler and Glen Vaughn. Pallbearers: James Coberly Jr., Joey Coberly, Christopher Daniels, Wes Lutter, Rob Martin, and Garrett Presley Visitation began at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 5th, and funeral service followed at 2:00 pm at Mack Funeral Home in Robertsdale, Alabama. Interment was at Bethel Baptist Cemetery in Elsanor, Alabama.
