The weather isn't unusual for this time of year, but it does make planning outdoor fun a bit of a headache.

This weekend's list of top events cover the coast from Pensacola to Gulf Shores. This weekend is the Blue Marlin Grand Championship, which is always a fun time for the whole family. The atmosphere of the Saturday night weigh-in is electric and a must-see. Not into massive fish? Not a problem because this weekend's list has something for you. Take in a concert in Silverhill, celebrate Tuki's birthday in Foley, party with Swifties in Pensacola or explore retiles at Gulf State Park.

Summer Concert Under the Oak

  • What: Head to Silverhill for an evening of music featuring the Justin Howard Band. Bring your lawn chair and blanket, grab dinner from the on-site food trucks and have a fun time with your family and friends.

Taylor Swift Pop-Up Bar

  • What: The Garden Pensacola is the place for Swifties this weekend. To celebrate the release of "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)," the Perennial and The Garden have a weekend full of T-Swift fun. Tuki's Birthday Celebration

  • What: Happy birthday Tuki! OWA Parks and Resort have a big day planned to celebrate Tuki's birthday, and everyone is invited. Enjoy a tropical-themed day of activities and entertainment in Downtown OWA at Tropic Falls. Enjoy sherbet floats, glitter tattoos, tropical games and a bubble truck in Downtown OWA. Blue Marlin Grand Championship

  • What: Head to The Wharf Friday or Saturday to witness weigh-ins for the greatest show in sportfishing. Saturday evening is the main event where the winner will be crowned.

Reptile Romp

  • What: Learn about the scaly creatures that call Gulf State Park home while the Naturalists at the Nature Center provide enrichment for the animal ambassadors.
