William McKinley Rich Jr., age 88, a native of Jackson, Mississippi and resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017.
Mr. Rich was a member of First Baptist Church of Fairhope and the Lions Club. He was a dedicated Fairhope Baptist Church Choir member and retired Spanish teacher from the Fairhope school system and also taught at Faulkner State Community College.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William M. Rich Sr., Estelle Mills Rich; brother, Andrew Charles Rich; sisters, Laura Rich Marsh, Nellie Ann Rich Robinson and Mary Jo Rich.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 13, 2017, 1 p.m., at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Jackson, Mississippi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Fairhope, 300 S Section St., Fairhope, AL 36532.
