RHS hosting sports camps


ROBERTSDALE, Alabama -- Coaches from Robertsdale High School kicked off the free summer camp series beginning June 5.

Basketball coaches hosted a camp for boys and girls June 5-7 in the gym facility at the former First Baptist Church in Robertsdale.

RHS Head Baseball Coach Peter Bezeredi, players and staff also hosted a baseball camp at the municipal baseball complex at Garrett Park, which was postponed because of rain, but got underway June 8.

Camps continue with an RHS softball camp led by Head Coach Barry Roberts and staff at the municipal softball complex at Garrett Park.

There will also be a soccer camp at the city’s soccer facility behind the city’s fire station.

A tennis camp and cheerleading camp, hosted by RHS coaches, will be held later this month, along with a pair of football skills camps, hosted by city league coaches.
