FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Todd Bailey, the Head Golf Professional at Fairhope’s Rock Creek GC, is headed to Colorado Springs, Colorado later this month to compete in his first U.S. Senior Open event. Born in Tuscaloosa, Bailey has been a long time resident on the Gulf Coast. He graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1992 with a degree in Marketing, just a year after turning Pro. Bailey played professional golf from 1993 to 2012 and won five Alabama Opens.
Stints on the PGA Tour, Nationwide, and NGA Tour followed before he became a club Professional.
This year’s USGA Senior Open will be played June 28-July1 at the Broadmoor West course in Colorado Springs. The Donald Ross designed links has hosted many top level events including USGA Championships for both men and women.
