Cathy Collins, a beloved member of the Magnolia Springs community, passed away on Apr. 28, 2024, in Foley, Alabama. She was known for her dedication to her career at Woerner Turf.
Born in Foley, Alabama, Cathy was a proud graduate of Foley High School. Her passion for hosting and cooking for family gatherings brought joy to all who knew her. Cathy’s genuine kindness and caring nature were evident.
She is survived by her loving family, including her daughter Stephanie Taylor-Reese (Matt Gomez), sons Eddie Paul and Mack Paul, sister Felicia Norris (Tommy), brothers Mike Collins (Bridgette), and Clayton Collins (Nikki), her fiancé, Doug Frank. Cathy also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, along with many other relatives and friends.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father Eddie Collins, mother Elaine LaCoste Collins, and stepfather Dwight Miller.
A Funeral Service to honor and remember Cathy’s life was held on May 4, 2024, at Foley Chapel in Foley, AL. The service began at 11:00 AM. The family received friends from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment followed in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Magnolia Springs, AL.
Cathy’s legacy of love and compassion will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who crossed paths with this remarkable woman.
