Charles E. McKenzie, age 77, a lifelong resident of Fairhope and a current resident of Robertsdale, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2023. Charles was preceded in death by his wife and mother of his children, Jeanette McKenzie and brother, Billy McKenzie. He is survived by his wife, Peggy McKenzie; three daughters, Elizabeth Herring (Chris), Rachel Johnson (Terry) and Ahnna Mason (Brian); eight grandchildren, Chelsey (Chase) Simpson, Joseph (Tiffany) Bragg, Christopher (Kim) Bragg, Charles Bragg, Alyssa (Gregg) Gongre, Hayden Mason, Cierah (Josh) Abbott and Kolbe Mason; ten great grandchildren, Raelynn, Aubree, Lily, Kaylee, Neveah, and Carson Bragg, Molly and Lucy Simpson, Xander Gongre, Matthew Hall; brother, Jim McKenzie; numerous nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and friends. The family received friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope Chapel, on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Graveside services and interment were held at Memory Gardens of Fairhope, Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 3:00pm.
