Unravel the mysteries behind shoulder pain and discomfort.

The Orange Beach Adult & Senior Activity Center is hosting a community education seminar featuring Dr. John Todd, a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon and Medical Director of The Shoulder Center (TSC) at Baldwin Bone & Joint.

The event, titled "Snap, Crackle and Pop – Why Does My Shoulder Hurt Me So?" will take place on Friday, Feb. 2, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Orange Beach Adult and Senior Activity Center located at 26251 Canal Road in Orange Beach.

Individuals interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP by Jan. 30, calling (251) 981-3440.

The seminar aims to provide valuable insights for those grappling with shoulder issues, as the shoulder is renowned for its mobility and susceptibility to problems. Common symptoms include pain, weakness and a loss of motion that can significantly impact daily activities, work and recreation. Dr. Todd, an expert in shoulder-related concerns, will address common causes and the latest available options, encompassing both non-operative and operative care.

"It is my primary goal to return each patient to an active lifestyle, free from shoulder pain and limitations," Todd said.

The Shoulder Center, the newest addition to the specialized care provided by Baldwin Bone & Joint, adopts a comprehensive approach to shoulder conditions. Dr. John Todd and the TSC staff are not only specially trained but also equipped to guide patients through every phase of the diagnosis, treatment and recovery process.

For those seeking solutions to shoulder problems and interested in learning more about the latest advancements in shoulder care, this Lunch and Learn event promises valuable insights.
