FOLEY — A new hotel is set to establish its presence in Foley.

Nestled off Highway 59, a mile from the Tanger Outlets, Fairfield Inn and Suites is set to open in December of 2024.

The upcoming Foley expansion will feature 107 rooms, complete with smart TVs providing access to various streaming platforms. Spanning 1,046 square feet, the establishment will also house meeting spaces, ensuring guests' convenience. Complimentary amenities such as breakfast, parking, high-speed internet, a fitness center and a pool will be available.

The director of communications at A&R Group, Morgan Doffee, expressed Fairfield Inn's commitment to guest comfort.

"Fairfield Foley will incorporate natural elements in a contemporary style to foster a warm, homelike atmosphere," said Doffee. "The property will feature versatile public areas suitable for large gatherings while also offering secluded spaces for business travelers."

In terms of economic impact, the hotel aims to contribute to the local community.

"Primarily, it will generate revenue through lodging and sales taxes. Furthermore, we anticipate hiring at least 80% of our staff from the local community, offering them comprehensive training and development under our management team," Doffee said.

Fairfield Inn also plans to give back to the community through volunteer efforts and partnerships with local organizations such as Family Promise of Baldwin County.

Doffee added that the latest, most efficient and sustainable materials will be used when constructing this site. Using these materials will ensure optimal heating, cooling and comfort while protecting against issues such as mold, mildew and dampness.

"We aim to deliver this through memorable experiences for our guests, exceptional opportunities for our associates, and consistent community engagement," she said.
