"Love is complicated, even in a small town... especially in a small town," said actress Heather Graham, who narrates "Love in Fairhope," a new reality show based in Fairhope that premiered on Hulu on Sept 27.

The show, which was executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and producers of Vanderpump Rules, tells the story of five Fairhope women in different stages of life seeking love in the quaint town.

"This is the story of five women in a small town where your dating app comes up empty after two swipes," Graham said in the trailer.

The show even brought a little touch of Hollywood to the Eastern Shore, hosting a premiere party with the cast at The Fairhope Inn on Sept. 27. Guests mingled with the cast, took photos, sipped champagne and ended the evening with a screening of the first two episodes of the series.

Paige Dawson, owner of the Inn, greeted guests and introduced her daughter Olivia, one of the stars of the show.

"This was such an adventure, with all of the filming going on for a couple of years now. It is so fun to see it come to fruition. I feel like Hollywood," Dawson laughed.

Abby Mannich, 33, who recently moved back to Fairhope after giving life in New York City a try, quickly collides with an old flame, and drama ensues.

Mya Jo Williams, 21 , navigates a complicated love triangle after reconnecting with her best friend, Nick Defilipi, and ex-boyfriend, Kirk.

LaShoundra Young, 41, recently separated from her husband, who also happens to be one of the town preachers. Claiborne Walsh, 76, a spirited widow, is looking for love in her golden years. Olivia Ogletree, 32, and daughter of Dawson, reconnects with an old flame, embarking on a same-sex relationship that causes a stir in the small town.

All nine episodes of "Love in Fairhope" are currently streaming on Hulu.
