BAY MINETTE, Alabama — The North Baldwin Chamber will celebrate 76 years of service to the North Baldwin Community on Thursday, March 25 under the stars at the John F. Rhodes Civic Center in Bay Minette.

Tickets are on sale now and are $50 per person for Chamber members and $65 for prospective members. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. and will include recognition of several businesses and individuals such as the 2021 Small Business of the Year, Business of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year, First Responder Award and the Community Project Award.

This year’s event will look a little different than the traditional Annual Meeting and Dinner for the North Baldwin Chamber, as it will be held outdoors and serve as one of the first in-person gatherings for the Chamber following COVID. Social distancing will be in place, guests are asked to wear their mask unless seated at their tables, and tickets will be limited.

“We are excited to be able to host our 76th Annual Meeting in person,” said North Baldwin Chamber Executive Director Ashley Jones Davis. “After the year that was 2020, with many adjustments and cancellations of events, it feels good to be able to bring our membership together to celebrate local businesses, the work of the Chamber and to do so in a safe, respectable way.”

The goal of hosting the Annual Meeting is to recognize the outstanding businesses and individuals in North Baldwin, give the membership an opportunity to network in person in a comfortable environment, and to showcase the resiliency and determination of the community as they move forward to continue to foster a business focused, community driven environment.

“2020 was a tough year,” Jones Davis said. “2021 will not be without its own set of challenges; looking back I am proud of the work of the North Baldwin Chamber in 2020 and look forward to continuing to adapt, overcome and continue to pivot to meet the needs of our North Baldwin Business Community in 2021.

“We are looking forward to hosting this year’s Annual Meeting and celebrating with our members and illustrating our commitment to continue to represent the interests of our members and the wider community to create a united voice for progress in our area.”

The 76th Annual Meeting is presented by Baldwin EMC in partnership with the North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce. For more information, or to reserve your tickets, call 251-937-5665 or email ashley@northbaldwinchamber.com.
