Peter Donald Demers, age 74, of Gulf Shores, Alabama, passed away on Oct. 5, 2023. Peter was born in Ogdensburg, New York. After finishing up a career of over 30 years with a phone company in Scottsdale, Arizona, he retired and moved to Pine Top, Arizona, and finally to Gulf Shores, Alabama. He loved to travel and go on vacations. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald, and Anita Demers. Peter is survived by his daughter, Julie Zeerip; 2 grandchildren; and siblings, Donna, Kathy, Peggy, Bruce, Mark, and Matt. A visitation will be held at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Gulf Shores, Alabama, on Mon., Dec. 18, 2023, from 11:00-1:00 pm.
