Sylvia Jane Clark, the daughter of Ernest and Dorothy Clark, was born Oct. 16, 1943, at the naval hospital in San Diego, California. She died April 15, 2023, in Lacey, Washington where she had resided for the past eight years. A longtime resident of Josephine and Perdido Beach, Sylvia decided to move to Washington when macular degeneration began to take her eyesight and she could no longer drive. Being a world traveler, photography was her favorite hobby, as was hiking on wilderness trails which she continued to do with the help of her friends until she could not any longer. Sylvia is survived by a sister, Nancy Darby, two brothers, Bill, and John Clark, four nieces, Danielle Brazwell, Whitney Gregor, Morgan Harrison, and Stella Darby. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
