Concert fans were ready to get fancy for date night Saturday but had to rethink their plans at the last minute due to the rescheduling of a  Walker Hayes concert.

Hayes and his family have been crisscrossing the country on his Duck Buck Tour, which was scheduled to pull into Orange Beach June 24 for a 6:30 p.m. concert. He posted a video to his Facebook page just after 1 p.m. to let fans know the show was postponed.

In a statement on his Facebook page Hayes said:

“Hey guys. I’m so disappointed to be writing this right now, but I have to postpone my show tonight in Orange Beach at The Wharf. I fought all day yesterday to be able to do the show in Nashville but woke up today in much worse shape. When you guys are spending your hard-earned money to come out and see us, I never want to give anything less than 100%.”

The show has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 25. All tickets will be honored for the new date, but refunds are available at the point of purchase until July 24 for those who are unable to make the weeknight concert.

The June 24 concert was not a sold-out show, so there are plenty of tickets still available for the rescheduled concert. To purchase tickets, visit www.ticketmaster.com.
