Have you looked at the weekend forecast? Time to cross your fingers, pray for good weather or break out the rain gear. After a weekend of rescheduled holiday events, Baldwin County is hoping the weather will be in our favor so the holiday fun can get rolling.

This weekend's list of events includes indoor and outdoor events ranging from a Christmas concert to the lighting of the menorah in Fairhope. This weekend also has lots of parades and holiday events to keep you occupied.

HARK! A Christmas Concert

  • What: "Four A Change," a local quartet, will fill the Foley Civic Center with holiday melodies at the annual fundraising concert. This is the third year that St. Paul's Episcopal Church has hosted the "HARK" concert. This year's concert will benefit Family Promise of Baldwin County. Tickets can be purchased in advance at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 506 North Pine St.; Foley, Holy Spirit Thrift Shop, Highway 59, Gulf Shores; or at the door.
  • When: Thursday, Dec. 7, 7-9 p.m.
  • Where: Foley Civic Center, 407 E. Laurel Ave., Foley
  • Price: Tickets are $15

Daphne's Christmas Movie in the Park

  • What: Pack up the lawn chairs and blankets and spend an evening under the stars enjoying a Christmas movie. The event also serves as a drop location for Toys for Tots so bring a new unwrapped toy.
  • When: Friday, Dec. 8, 6-8 p.m.
  • Where: W.O. Lott Park, 2014 Main St., Daphne

Movie on The Bluff

  • What: Gather the family and friends and enjoy a holiday movie on The Bluff in Fairhope. This year's movie is "Elf." The event kicks off early with photos with Santa starting at 3:30 p.m.
  • When: Friday, Dec. 8, 3:30-7 p.m.
  • Where: Henry George Park, 39 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope

Stray Love Foundation adoption event

  • What: Holiday shopping this weekend could include an adorable rescue pet. The Stray Love Foundation is holding an in-person adoption event at the Tanger Outlet Mall. Surprise your family and give a deserving pet a loving home this holiday season.
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Where: LeCruset at Tanger Outlet Mall, 2601 S. McKenzie Street, Foley

Holly Days on Main Festival

  • What: The Holly Days on Main Festival is quickly becoming a Christmas tradition in South Baldwin County. Get your holiday shopping done with local vendors and the stores at The Wharf. There are also activities, music, dance performances and a Santa Pub Crawl. The event coincides with the Lighted Boat Parade.
  • When: Saturday, Dec. 9 and Sunday, Dec. 10, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: The Wharf, 4598 Main St., Orange Beach

Eastern Shore Chanukah Celebration

  • What: Join the community for a Chanukah Celebration at the Fairhope Municipal Pier. Bring your artistic talents as those in attendance are encouraged to graffiti the menorah with positive words, good wishes and resolutions. The event includes arts and crafts, hot latkes and doughnuts to enjoy.
  • When: Sunday, Dec. 10, 6 p.m.
  • Where: Fairhope Municipal Pier, 1 N. Beach Blvd., Fairhope

Thursday, Dec. 7

  • 6:30 p.m. – Fairhope's Magical Christmas Parade, Downtown Fairhope. The parade begins at 6:30 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 8

  • Loxley Christmas Parade, Begins at Loxley Church of God at Loxley Municipal Park, 5223 Municipal Park Dr., Loxley. The parade begins at 6 p.m.
  • Elberta Christmas Parade – Spend an evening in Elberta for the annual parade, tree lighting, pictures with Santa and a movie in the park. The fun begins at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 9

  • Foley Christmas Parade, 125 E. Laurel Ave., Foley. The parade begins at 10 a.m.
  • LuLu's Lighted Boat Parade, Intracoastal Waterway from LuLu's to The Wharf. The parade begins at dusk.
  • Pirates of Fish River Christmas Boat Parade, parade begins at the U.S. 98 Weeks Bay boat launch and ends at the 32 Bridge. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m.
HOLIDAY HAPPENINGS

Saturday, Dec. 9

  • Santa Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to noon – Bring your camera and capture the moment your child sees Santa outside the Fairhope Museum of History, 24 N. Section St., Fairhope.
  • Breakfast with the Grinch, 8 -11 a.m. – Head to Mt. Crumpet and enjoy breakfast with the Grinch. The event is $10 per person, RSVP to Gulfevents.statepark@dcnr.alabama.gov to reserve your seats. Learning Campus at Gulf State Park, 20249A State Park Road, Gulf Shores.
  • Pancakes with The Grinch, 8-10:30 a.m. – Busters Southern Pit BBQ will shift to breakfast for a fun holiday event. Busters Southern Pit BBQ, 22245 Highway 59 S., Suite 4B, Robertsdale.
  • Foley's Let It Snow, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. – Enjoy a day of activities, live entertainment, local vendors and Santa at Heritage Park.
  • Pancake Supper with Santa & Mrs. Clause, 5:30 p.m. – Breakfast for supper, story time and photos with Santa and Mrs. Clause at this free event hosted by the Summerdale Church of Christ. RSVP is required by calling (251) 989-2538.

Sunday, Dec. 10

  • Breakfast with Santa and Friends, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Enjoy a tasty breakfast with Santa, Buddy the Elf and the Grinch. Admission is $10 per person and the proceeds benefit Emblem Club 241 Community Service Fund. Fairhope Elks Lodge No. 1879, 561 S. Mobile St., Fairhope
