Posted

In a startling incident that unfolded today, a 20-year-old Daphne woman, Kierra Johnson, found herself in handcuffs after forcibly entering a local Sonic on Greeno Road and assaulting an employee.

The event took place just after 1 p.m., prompting response from law enforcement as officers made their way to the fast food restaurant to address an ongoing altercation.

Witnesses reported that Johnson engaged in a heated verbal dispute of a personal nature with a Sonic employee outside the establishment. As tensions escalated, coworkers intervened by pulling the victim inside and securing the front door. Undeterred, Johnson forcibly entered through the back door, where she proceeded to assault a second employee.

Law enforcement arrested Johnson, charging her with assault 3rd, classified as a misdemeanor, and a more severe felony charge of burglary 3rd for entering the premises with the intent to commit a crime. Johnson will be transported to the Baldwin County Correctional Facility.
