Interested in a nursing degree? The Nursing Program at Coastal Alabama Community College's Fairhope Campus provides a comprehensive education aimed at preparing students for successful careers in nursing. Offering options for earning AAS degrees in Nursing or Nursing Mobility, as well as Certificates in Practical Nursing, students have various pathways to pursue their nursing goals.

One notable aspect of the program is its emphasis on hands-on experience and exposure to real-world clinical settings. Through partnerships with hospitals and healthcare facilities, students benefit from valuable clinical experiences that enrich their learning.

The program's high job placement rate reflects the quality of education and training provided. Nursing graduates typically achieve a 100% job placement rate before graduation, highlighting the program's reputation for producing skilled professionals in high demand.

Additionally, the nursing program collaborates with local hospitals to offer apprenticeship opportunities. Selected apprentices are employed by participating facilities, allowing them to earn money while completing their required clinical time.

The Fairhope Campus is also home to an accredited Simulation Program recognized by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare. Coastal Alabama Community College's simulation program was the first community college in the state to obtain this accreditation status. During the 2022-2023 school year, the simulation program conducted over 2,000 learning encounters, totaling over 10,000 hours of instruction for nursing and EMS learners. The program also hosts community-wide events such as disaster drills, CPR courses and Stop the Bleed classes, as well as in-situ simulations at local hospitals.
