As a redshirt junior in the fall, Quinn nailed all 45 of his extra-point tries then in the spring he graduated as an accounting and finance major with a 3.90 GPA. Out of all the conference-sponsored sports, the award is presented to the top student-athletes as voted on by their academic achievement, athletic achievement and service.

“He has earned the prestigious Conference USA Academic Medal for having a GPA over 3.75 every year while at UAB and has additionally appeared on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll, UAB Dean's List and the UAB President's List,” it says in the UAB Sports Information press release. “Quinn was also a member of Beta Alpha Psi, an international honor society for accounting, finance, and information systems.”

The member of Spanish Fort’s Class of 2019 has made 125 of his 127 career point-after tries to register a PAT percentage of .984 which sits atop the all-time school rankings.

With still one season left, his 36 career field goals sit sixth all-time, his 125 extra points rank third and his 233 points scored are seventh best. So far, his career long of 52 yards is tied for third longest in school history.

As a redshirt freshman, Quinn successfully hit all five of his field-goal attempts between 40-49 yards and this past season as a redshirt junior, all five of his attempts between 30-39 yards were made.

As a Toro, Quinn was twice named all-state by the Alabama Sports Writers Association where he was a second-team honoree as a junior and a first-team selection as a senior. He owns Spanish Fort school records for points scored (447) and field goals (55) including four walk-off field goals as time expired. He also made 282 of his 293 PATs.
