Staples joins Franklin Primary Health Center's medical team

Begins seeing patients at South Baldwin Family Health Center today

Franklin Primary Health Center, Inc. (FPHC) proudly announces the addition of Dr. Val Staples, DO, to their medical team, bringing her expertise in family practice to the South Baldwin Family Health Center. With a dedication to patient-centered care, Dr. Staples joins the center located at 1628 North McKenzie Suite 102, Foley, according to a news release.

Dr. Staples, a Columbus State University graduate with a degree in Biology, earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn in 2019. Following her education, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley.

Mr. Charles White, Chief Executive Officer at FPHC, expressed enthusiasm about the new addition to the FPHC team.

"We are excited to welcome Dr. Val Staples to our healthcare family," White said in the release. "Her dedication to providing highly-skilled, compassionate care and her commitment to staying at the forefront of medical advancements perfectly align with our mission to be a compassionate and effective community health center.”

Board certified in Family Medicine, Dr. Staples is prepared to offer comprehensive, empathetic care to patients of all ages.

Dr. Staples availability at the South Baldwin Family Health Center begins today, Feb. 14, 2024, with clinic hours scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The center welcomes both appointments and walk-ins.
