Step into the spotlight this summer, as registration is now open for the PACT Theatre' s summer theatrical experiences in Mobile. According to the official release, the theatre's summer program includes three camp options, tailored for 1st-12th graders looking to experience musical theatre in a high energy, innovative and exciting way.

Musical theatre summer show intensives
("How To Train Your Dragon Jr. The Musical")
The first camp option is a summer show intensive, which allows campers to participate in developing a brand-new show and be a part of the first production of a new musical before it is released.

According to the official website, the production will be fully produced with costumes, sets, lighting and will be performed for two weekends at the theater.

The camp will run from June 3-21, Monday-Friday from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with performances on June 21-23 and 28-30. Pre-camp workshops will run from May 18-19 and June 1. Tuition is $450, and will include instruction, a t-shirt, and some costume pieces.

Musical theatre pilot production camps
("Madagascar Kids, a musical adventure" & "Shrek Kids, The Musical")

This camp option will allow campers to be a part of developing a brand-new show, before it is released. The productions will be fully produced with costumes, set and lighting.

This camp will run from June 17-28, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., with performances on June 28 at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Tuition is $390, and will include instruction, a t-shirt and some costume pieces.

Musical theatre performance camps
("Disney on Broadway" & "The Lion King Kids")
The final camp option allows students to experience musical theatre though two weeks, as campers audition, receive a role and rehearse the show within two weeks of camp.

According to the official website, the shows are performed on the last day of camp.This camp will run from July 22-August 2, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m, and is open to students in 1-8th grade. Tuition is $350, and includes instruction, a t-shirt and some costume accessories.
