Impact 100 Baldwin County is seeking to assist nonprofits interested in applying for the 2024 grant cycle with an upcoming Zoom workshop.

Since its inception in 2008, Impact 100 Baldwin County has distributed $5.5 million in grants to various nonprofits, with plans for further expansion this year. Nonprofit organizations eager to participate in the 2024 grant cycle are encouraged to attend a virtual grant application workshop scheduled for Monday, April 29, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The Zoom workshop will provide attendees with a comprehensive overview of the application process, offering a step-by-step guide and insights on preparing budget documents. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to hear from a previous grant recipient. Following the workshop on April 29, nonprofits can opt to receive the information electronically through a PowerPoint presentation and video via email.

To be considered for grants, nonprofits must submit letters of intent by May 14, with completed applications due by June 3. Grants, which support initiatives in arts, culture and recreation; education; environment and preservation; family; and health and wellness, are financed through the collective giving efforts of Impact 100 members, who pool their $1,000 donations.

Interested parties can register for the workshop online via the Impact 100 Baldwin County website at www.impact100baldwincounty.org. All pertinent materials and a Zoom link will be dispatched to registered participants by April 26.
