Multiple members of the Baldwin County Home Builders Association are among the distinguished recipients in the 2024 Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards (AREA) competition, organized by the Home Builders Association of Alabama.

Emmy May Design & Construction Management, LLC emerged as the prominent victor of the evening, clinching the esteemed Best in Show accolade for its remarkable Fairhope Fruit & Nut District Outdoor Living project, which also secured top honors in the Outdoor Living category. Additionally, the Fairhope Fruit & Nut District residence triumphed in the Exterior Remodel category and secured a runner-up position in the Whole House Remodel $250,000-$500,000 category.

Stockton Construction LLC claimed victory in the Whole House Remodel Under $250,000 category for its transformative "1990s to Elegance" project.

Kade Laws Interior Design & Remodeling seized the spotlight in the Space Renovation/Residential Specialty Project category with its exceptional "Olde Town Wine Room" project.

Mako Services attained success in the Bath Remodel $35,000-$70,000 category with its impressive "Alder Creek" project.

C. Roberds General Contractors, LLC, emerged victorious in the Commercial Renovation category for its commendable "Mobile Endodontics" project. Additionally, its "Summer Moon Café" project secured a runner-up position in the same category.

Valére Homes was honored as a runner-up in the Custom Home $500,000-$1 Million category for its distinguished "Dream Chateau" project.

The Alabama Remodeling Excellence Awards recognize remodelers, contractors, kitchen and bath designers and other building professionals who have demonstrated outstanding craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail in projects across Alabama. This year's AREA competition received sponsorship from the Alabama Home Builders Self Insurers Fund, Spire and the Builders Health Trust.
