Posted

On March 18, Orange Beach Police officers responded to a report of vandalism at the intersection of Canal Road and Foley Beach Express yesterday.

Upon arrival, officers were confronted with a peculiar scene - a small Toyota SUV repeatedly colliding with the "Zero Tolerance, Underage Drinking and Drugs" sign installed at the junction.

Inside the vehicle, officers found Alonzo Duwayne Prim who was then apprehended by authorities. Prim faces charges of criminal mischief I and resisting arrest in connection with the incident.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. However, the damaged sign is estimated to be valued at approximately $19,500 according to Orange Beach Police sources.
